My Roots...

For as long as I can remember I have wanted to work in a helping profession. I’m fascinated by the social sciences, especially the psychology of how our brains form and break habits. I found empowerment and self-realization through my own therapeutic journey and as I came to accept myself and embrace growth, I began actively pursuing a career in counselling therapy. I have discovered tremendous value in the benefits of therapy, and am committed to offering them to the best of my ability to those seeking healing and growth in their own therapeutic journey.

My first step into this field was through a volunteer opportunity at a national crisis line. This opportunity provided experience working with those in need of support. I was moved by the many stories and struggles that others shared with me. As much as this work was valuable and important, I yearned to provide more long-term support in these people’s lives. I moved forward into my college education to gain the knowledge I needed to build a private practice that provides a warm, empathetic, and safe environment. I am now proudly a member of the Association of Cooperative Counselling Therapists of Canada, committing myself to continued education and the best available practices in counselling therapy.
